I haven't seen anything in the documentation about this, but is there a way to throttle the number of messages the list service tries to send at a time? I'm having a problem where some messages get caught in the queue because there are so many recipients on a list that it overloads the DNS server. Then I get DNS server failure messages, and this in turn generates that automatic list error message to all of the people, who then get confused.

If we could just have these messages go out in a slow trickle, it would really solve the whole problem...

Does anyone else have a problem with lists and if so, what are you doing to fix them?
