Subject: Yahoo's New DMARC Policy Destroys Mail Lists

Beginning Saturday evening I started noticing messages sent from
*@yahoo.com addresses to various CGP mail groups containing *@yahoo.com
forwarders started bouncing. This has continued through today with
messages (always from *@yahoo.com) now bouncing to yahoo.com,
hotmail.com, comcast.net, and aol.com.

If you've also noticed a lot of bounces involving addresses in your CGP
mail groups in the last few days, here's why:

Apparently, Yahoo changed its DMARC policy p=reject this past week-end
which has had a very negative impact on millions of mail lists around
the world.

See:

This is an extremely ill thought-out thing Yahoo has done. It has had a
very noticeable negative impact world-wide. It remains to be seen
whether they will do the right thing and backtrack.
