Hello,
  opensuse v42.1
  cgpro 5.4.11

  Recently a user who has a cox.net account has been having
difficulty, and finally failing, to connect to our mail server to send
or receive messages. Below is a typical session. It applies to both
IMAP and SMTP.
  No other MTA exhibits this problem (google, verizon, sprint, etc.).
  The cgpro server uses its own self-signed certificate (4096 bit, as
I recall). Is there something special I should do to re-create it?

  Can someone explain what the error message actually means?

09:14:46.482 1 IMAP-021362([72.208.72.31]) failed to switch to the
target TLS domain 'imap.sma-inc.us'. Error Code=unknown secondary
domain name
09:14:47.290 3 IMAP-021361([72.208.72.31]) read failed. Error
Code=connection closed by peer
