As IMAP files stay on the server and mail clients decide how/if mail is copied to the local computer (with or without attachements, or just the subject?) I think this figure means the combined sum of all mail read ("re read" and compared) to what is already on (copied to) the local computers.

I altered this to "Messages retrieved/copied from server by POP & IMAP" to get more interesting figures.

pop retrieved:
http:// server >/Master/Monitors/SNMPElement.html? id=1.3.6.1.4.1.5678.2.1.1.3.10

IMAP mesages copied:
http:// server >/Master/Monitors/SNMPElement.html? id=1.3.6.1.4.1.5678.2.1.1.4.16

I just altered the mrtg.cfg and changed the snmp elements and the web page.

I have MRTG setup on my server and it all looks pretty reasonable. I just don't understand the one graph:

"This page lists how many messages are retrieved from the server via IMAP & POP"

For my server this is showing an average of 3,500 messages per minute. That can't be right as my server would be very slow. Does anyone know what this is actually graphing?

I don't use CGPSA

I used Porticus(MacPorts to install mrtg on OS X (needs Xcode
installed too).

We also have clamav installed and use it with cgpav.

Has anyone set this up or can it only be done when running spamd?

Thanks,
