Do the fsck,
then reinstall CGP just to be sure all CGP-related files are OK
(/opt/Communigate).
This process will not modify the user files (/var/Communigate).
If one or more user files are corrupted, this may have adverse effects
on the account to which the file(s) belong, but usually not on CGP or
the other, not-corrupted, accounts.
- if a server settings file (/var/Communigate/Settings) is corrupted,
this may prevent CGP to start
- if a domain settings file is corrupted, this may prevent this domain
to be loaded at all.
- if an account settings file is corrupted, the account may not be
loaded
- if a mailbox or mdir file is corrupted, the mailbox or the individual
message will fail. This one if quite difficult to diagnose because it
can be a rarely-accessed message and the problem will appear only in
several weeks, months or years...
When you complete the fsck and reinstall, let know if you see other
errors and I'm sure someone will advise.

Nicolas Hatier

Right
did a non destructive fsck and it shows some errors in the region of
where CGServer is, will do a proper fsck later. One thing on the
assumption CummuniGate.exe is corrupt can I just replace it when the
file system is sorted?

We had to manually power off a while back,
although to my knowledge this was after the problem started; however I
could be wrong. We've not had any space issues either, we do have a
domain we can't delete, but my understanding of this was that it is
because of a file not deleting and so can't delete the domain as it's
not empty.
I'll do the test later, thanks so far for this.

Looks like a corrupted filesystem, do a
forced fsck on the machine. Did the server had a power outage latelly?
Or ran out of space?...

Subject: Server Crashing

We've got CGP 5.0.13 server running on FreeBSD it's run like a dream
for about 3 years, but in the last couple of days it just stops, if I
attempt to restart [Communigate start] it won't, the only way to get it
running again is a full reboot of the Server.
The crash log shows me this below, anyone able to help me as to where
else I should be looking?
