Thanks to everyone for the information so far.

Has anyone experienced data lose while using XFS?  Should I be worried about
potential poor performance while deleting a lot of little files?

I have used SGI's XFS for years, and it's a very good filesystem for CGP,
especially when the filesystem is very large.
