I use GoDaddy's multi-host cert and if multi-domain works anything like it then what happens is you CSR your main domain www.yourdomain.com.  Then you create separate requests for each of the other 4 domains.  Now when someone clicks on the lock you get the currect domain name in the identified field, but if you actually view cert details the main domain is listed in the issued to.  But you do have to issue separate requests for each domain they just bundle it up with the first domain.  Don't know if that helps any but that is how they handle their multi-host certs.

hi Adam

Thanks for the prompt reply. I read the go daddy description.

My doubts, are. in a CommuniGate mail Sever, where I have 5 different domains.. (not alias of the main domain), can I stil use the GoDaddy Multipe Certs.

If I purchase a multi domain of 5 certs from Go Daddy, do I do the CSR 5 times, or just once? From CommuniGate documentation, it look like, I need to do 5 CSR with 5 different set of public/private keys.

thank you

larry
