I cant seem to find the panel referred to here and am not sure if the setting I have made are even remotely correct: http://www.communigate.com/Communigatepro/SIP.html#ExtGateway
Instead I have put the sip service provider address '2talk.co.nz' in the 'Relay via:' field in the Protocol panel of Settings>Real-Time>SIP>Sending.
The SIP Phone number 'my_sip_number' is in the 'Telephone Numbers field, and the password in the 'Alt SIP Password' field, both in the users 'settings' page.
If I try to dial out with it, the dialler immediately shows 'disconnected'
The logs look ok (I think) until the invite signal is sent.
The number I am dialling is correctly identified as a local call and the local ISD + STD codes are correctly prepended.
The router module rejects the set up because it does not recognise the 'account' reference which was formed by appending the main domain name to the number - I thought that is what the Telephone Number field was for.
14:10:29.502 2 PBXLEG-000226 calling sip:dialled_number@2talk.co.nz
14:10:29.502 2 SIGNAL-000862 NODE-000226: INVITE sip:dialled_number@2talk.co.nz
14:10:29.502 1 ROUTER SYSTEM: 'my_sip_number@main.CGdomain' rejected. Error Code=unknown user account
14:10:29.502 1 SIGNAL-000862 failed to route the 'From' address 'my_sip_number@main.CGdomain'. Error Code=unknown user account
Putting the number in as an account alias seems to have got passed that, but now the calls are dropped because of this:
14:34:23.047 2 SIPC-000020 [004361] INVITE sip:+649dialled_number@2talk.co.nz sent [192.168.111.1]:5060 -> udp[202.180.76.166]:5060
14:34:23.392 2 SIPDATA-004362 inp: rsp [0.0.0.0]:5060 <- udp[202.180.76.166]:5060 407-INVITE(561 bytes)
14:34:23.392 1 SIPDATA-004362 VIA sent-by(my.public.ip.address) udp[my.public.ip.address]:5060 is not local, response dropped
I am running CGPro in a DMZ, so the local addresses are NAT'd.
I put the current public IP into the LAN IP page - WAN IPv4 Address and these errors stopped (I might have to pay up and get a static IP at last)
but now I have a '407 rejected' message.
It looks like I will need to authenticate to the service providers proxy, and that needs the External Gateway panel ...
So can anyone tell me where it is or how to enable it?
thanks
Dave
