We use Pronto and just decided on disabling all the other sections except for Mail / Calendar, so they are not even selectable on the top toolbar. You can do this by overriding the Skins for Pronto and uploading empty files for:

blog.def
conference.def
files.def
music.def
mystuff.def
news.def
photos.def
social.def
twitter.def
videos.def
website.def

For our own styles, we also updated the following to customise our style and make it blend in with the rest of our systems:

loginimage.png
loginlogoimage.png
style.swf

To do this we created our own Skin to keep things separate, in the Admin pages, goto Users->Skins (or Users->Domains->domainname.com->Skins) and create a new Skin (in bottom right corner there is a text area next to the create button for the name) e.g. "Pronto-Custom" (you need to label them with the prefix "Pronto-") then go into this Skin and just use the upload files to add the files above. Then to use the Skin you need to update your default Pronto style, do this from Users->Account Defaults->Preferences->Pronto! Style (or the same place in your domain) and set it to "Custom" or whatever you called your skin.

Please note, when I say empty files, make sure they are at least one byte, so have a space in or something, otherwise they supposedly won't get uploaded (according to the documentation)

Hope that helps!

Hi,

we use CommuniGate only for mail/calendering, therefor I've set "File
Storage Limit: 0" in Account Defaults to disable file storage. With
Pronto there is now a Message Box claiming that "file storage is disabled".
Is there a way to configure Pronto not to claim about the disabled File
Storage? Runnning 5.3.2 on Centos Server.
