Hmmm,
some lessons:
* I was not logged in as root, I ended up installing several versions,
old and new, the old was first on my path
* I used locate to determine the above
* I nastily copied the new over the old for spamassassin, sa-learn and sa-update
Once the above was sorted, sa-update worked.
Sa-learn does not because 3.3.0 does not like cgate mbox.
