I'm having a persistent problem with what seems to be preference file
corruption with the blacklist information (using SIMS 1.8b8 and
CommuniGate Client 3.1.1). I've even trashed the Prefs file and rebuilt,
but still it becomes corrupted almost immediately. I was having this
problem on my old 7200/90 (Mac OS 7.6) and am still having it on my new
G4/400 (Mac OS 9.0.4).

The two visible symptoms are:
     1. In CommuniGate Client, SMTP Service Settings, the Blacklist
list sometimes becomes truncated, and "garbage" text appears
after the truncation. I do not use the web interface to
alter the router or blacklist settings.
     2. Enabling the "Use Blacklist DNS Server" checkbox and clicking
the "RBL Servers" button results in a "Not Enough Memory"
error dialog (twice), then CommuniGate quits unexpectedly. This
is after having successfully fresh-configured the RBL server
list. A few times I have gotten the edit box for the RBLs, but
it's been filled with "garbage". Trying to open a second time
does result in the memory error and quit.

I do have quite a few manual blacklist entries (which is why I want to
start using the RBLs), but I wouldn't think I'm exceeding any limit (128
lines, 2873 bytes total).

Any suggestions?
